Book Cover Design · Illustration · Art Direction
I was commissioned by author Peter Whealy to develop the cover for Lead with AI. Stay Human., following several unsuccessful cover concepts produced by the publisher's in-house illustrator.
Working from Peter's original concept, I developed the visual direction, illustrated the central artwork and designed the final cover, creating a bold visual representation of the book's central theme.
The book has since been published and shortlisted for Leadership Book of the Year 2026 by the Institute of Leadership.

Product Design · Concept Development · Technical Design
During my time as Creative Lead at Way to Blue, I was commissioned by Kojima Productions to design bespoke heels for Hideo Kojima's Nike × ACRONYM Blazer trainers, commemorating the fourth anniversary of Death Stranding.
Inspired by the game's vehicles, weapons and visual language, I developed two concepts that translated its futuristic aesthetic into wearable accessories. One concept incorporated a miniature laser projector designed to cast the Kojima logo onto nearby surfaces.
The designs evolved from initial concepts and cardboard prototypes into refined technical drawings and final 3D-printed components. The completed heels were then shipped to Mr Kojima in Japan, where they received an enthusiastic response and were shared on his social media channels.
In 2023, Hideo Kojima wore the custom-designed heels (without the laser projectors) when he spoke at Apple WWDC in 2023 — bringing the project full circle, from an initial creative concept to a finished piece worn on an international stage.

I was selected as one of 72 finalists for Series 12 of Sky Arts’ Portrait Artist of the Year, chosen from thousands of applicants after submitting a self-portrait.
In Heat 2, I joined two other artists to paint singer Shayne Lynch of Boyzone, with just four hours to complete the portrait.
The episode aired on Sky Arts on 5 November 2025. It was a memorable opportunity to put my portrait-painting skills to the test in a live television environment.

Trojan Horse VIP Invitation
To invite VIP guests from the financial industry to an Ancient Greece-themed dinner and charity auction in aid of WellChild, Platts wanted something a little more memorable than a conventional invitation.
Inspired by the story of the Trojan Horse, I conceived and designed a miniature cardboard horse, printed with realistic wood textures and assembled by hand. Each horse was packed in a box with straw, with a removable top that revealed a rolled-up scroll containing the event details.
From the initial concept and structural design through to artwork, print production and final assembly, I managed the process from start to finish, creating a bespoke invitation that brought the event's theme to life before guests even arrived.

An original children's picture book
The Annual Frog Talent Competition is an original children's picture book which I’ve written and illustrated.
It’s a playful rhyming tale set at the Leaping Lily Pond, where frogs gather from far and wide to compete in an annual talent show. From juggling hedgehogs to playing piano with their feet, the competition is full of unexpected acts, eccentric characters and a few surprises along the way.
Combining humorous storytelling with colourful character design and expressive illustration, the project brings an offbeat world of amphibian entertainment to life.

The Magic Rabbit Invitation
For a magic-themed dinner and charity auction in aid of WellChild, sponsored by Platts, I created a playful invitation designed to surprise VIP guests before the event had even begun.
Inspired by the classic magician’s trick, I designed a three-dimensional paper rabbit emerging from a black top hat, holding a rolled-up scroll containing the event details. Each invitation was designed, printed and assembled by hand, transforming a simple invitation into a miniature piece of paper theatre.
From the initial concept through to the final assembly, I brought the idea to life, creating a memorable and interactive introduction to the evening.
